Nevertheless, The Universe will be sending you information to assist you in learning how to take better care of your body and your health. You get to choose whether you use it or ignore it. If you are not interested in having a healthier body and are fine with your life and the way you are living it, continue on doing what you are doing. You are on the right course for you. On the other hand, if you are interested in having a healthier body and life, watch for opportunities to learn about good health this month – books to read, classes to take, movies to watch, reading groups to join. Choose the one that feels intriguing and then decide if the information feels right for your life. You may find it helpful to take the time to explore what you currently believe about how to be healthy and to evaluate if those beliefs feel right and are creating the good health you desire. What beliefs do you currently hold – consciously or unconsciously – related to your health? What about these? • I have no control over illness. If I come in contact with germs, I will get sick. • High blood pressure (heart disease, high cholesterol, diabetes, being overweight, etc.) runs in my family, so I am likely to have it also. • If I get sick, there is medication that will cure me. • I always get a summer (winter, spring, fall) cold. • I am healthy because I exercise and eat in a healthy manner. • I am healthy and rarely get sick. • If I get sick or hurt, I need to look for the reason it occurred. • All discord in my body is caused by a need to forgive – myself or someone else. Watch for information this month that either supports or disproves your beliefs, then decide what feels best for your life. If an ailment or injury shows up, you may find it helpful to get beyond the symptoms that are showing you there is a problem and dig deeper to find the cause rather than simply taking something to ease the symptoms. Are you having frequent headaches that you are often swallowing pain killers to relieve without addressing why you are having the headaches? This type of behavior can lead to more severe problems, such as addiction to the pain pills and the underlying issue growing worse. Something else to consider if you or someone in your life gets sick or is injured is to evaluate if the sick or injured person is in someway benefiting from the event. Are they being cared for by others? Are they getting more attention? Are they released from some of their responsibilities? As you observe the situation, try not to judge it as good or bad. Instead see it as it is without labeling it. Look for the reason this is happening. Was the person overwhelmed and needed a rest? Did they feel like they could not cope? Did they feel unsafe for some reason? Did they feel unloved? An interesting twist to this month will be a need to be happy and to enjoy life, as well as a need to be around friends and family. Being sick can take the fun out of your day. It can hold you back from enjoying life and being around your friends and family. On the other hand, being sick or injured may draw people to you to help you. Are you the type of person who wants others to be there for you when you are sick or do you want to be alone? Obtaining knowledge will be a driving force this month, and supporting this will be a need to try something different and to be creative. Look for a different way. Be open to a better idea. Be willing to change your beliefs. And allow yourself to have fun while you are doing these things. After all, as the saying goes, laughter is the best medicine."
