I found myself begin to reflect on the fact that it's April 1st tomorrow and it felt like I blinked and the months have past that quickly. With that on my mind and being grateful that my Sister Camille is recovering from a bi-lateral lung transplant it reminded me of a poem that my daughter wrote when she was 17 yrs old and it was published by the Iliad Literary Awards Program in a book named 'Treasures'. The poem is called "Time" I'd like to share the poem with you.
Wishing you peace, balance and harmony....
What is time?
Time is the everlasting gap between us.
It is the empty space which imprisons us from moving on.
Time has a strange effect on us.
Never moving faster or slower than the deep abyss
which truly lies between now and then.
Of course we will meet in time.
But, if time chooses, I may not see you at all.
Yet our love is strong,
and it can even withstand the harsh trials of time.
Time is our boundary, the wall that closes us in.
The world is nothing without time, it is only a dream,
an ethereal plane.
And we are merely spirits forever trapped....
