12/14/2016 0 Comments Why Am I Here What do you think of this from Doreen Virtue! 'I had a clear vision and epiphany today about the question many people have: "Why am I here?" I saw each of us in heaven, looking at earth with compassion for all of the suffering, and wanting to help those who were confused, afraid, and lonely. From our heavenly perspective, it seemed hopeful that we could help them. So we volunteered to come to earth to be teachers, healers, parents, aunts, uncles, and helpful people. But then when we arrived upon earth, amnesia and confusion set in. The need to feed, house, and care for our human bodies took over and we became focused upon getting our own needs met. And when we do focus upon the suffering in the world, it can be overwhelming for a sensitive person. You aren't sure of the best way to help. I feel that way too sometimes. Situations like bigotry, prejudice, corporate greed, animal cruelty, environmental unconsciousness, etc., upset me as much as they do you. Yet, we can't turn away and pretend these situations don't exist. We came here to help! The solution I've found is prayer. First, praying for the situation and everyone involved. And secondly, praying for guidance about physical actions we can take to provide useful help. You may be guided to donate, volunteer, talk to someone, write, teach, start or sign a petition, or other countless ways that you make a positive difference. When you know you're making a difference, you can see and feel the light of faith and hope. And if enough of us take positive action, you start to see the positive differences. Please join me in prayer for all who are suffering, and asking for divine guidance about what you can do to help. Your prayers and positive actions help us all! Because helping, after all, is why you and I are here." Doreen Virtue Wishing you peace, balance and harmony... Christi
