What could you have done to have made your life better? What did you need to remove from your life? What did you need to add? In October 2016, The Universe once again encourages you to consider your needs and what is best for you. October will be a time of releasing things that no longer fit your dream life and of choosing things that bring a smile to your face. It is extremely important to keep a positive attitude and to keep your focus on your dreams. Don’t let recent reverses or slow movement cause you to think that things are not going to work out. The right choices will always be the ones that make you feel happy when you think about them, even though the thought of tackling them may seem like a challenge. Beginning new projects, going to new places, and trying new things are all good options for October. Watch for outdated things and concepts that need to be discarded in order to move forward. Often space needs to be cleared in order to allow something new to come in. This can be actual physical space or mental or emotional space. As it was in January, once again this month it will be very important to spend time alone. Being alone will help you think clearly without the influence of the energy of others. Take advantage of every opportunity that shows up to do something by yourself, whether it is shopping, going for a walk or simply being home on your own. It is also important this month to follow your inner guidance rather than ask others for their opinions. This will be a time of trying new things, of being bold and of taking chances. Your Guidance Team will be encouraging you to push through your fears. Be brave. Try something new. Be willing to step outside of your comfort zone. Have you ever noticed that negative energy is dull? It is sluggish and seems to drag you down slowly. On the other hand, positive energy is fast moving, upbeat and joyful. Even if you go through a period of feeling negative, shifting your mood to positive, can quickly reverse and wipe out any damage caused by the pessimistic phase. If you find you are in a down-spiral, take the time immediately to do some positive day-dreaming – preferably alone. Picture your dream life. Start a collage or a scrapbook with pictures and ideas of things your dream life will contain. Check your surroundings. What or who is dragging you down or holding you back? What can you do to move away from this negativity? If objects or your surroundings are causing the negativity, take some time to consider what needs to be done. Is the negativity coming from something you can discard? If not, for instance if it is your home, what can you do to put more uplifting energy and more light into it? More happy colors like orange or yellow. Pictures that make you smile. What you put out is what you get back. If you are spewing unhappy energy all around you, you are going to draw even more reasons to you to be unhappy. Happiness doesn’t happen to you. YOU CREATE IT."
